New devices supported

·  X-Rite eXact scanning option. pressSIGN has supported the eXact spectrophotometer for over a year. X-Rite recently launched the scanning option for Windows. It's simple to use, just attach the scanning trolley and quickly and easily measure single or multiple row color bars.

·  Konica Minolta FD-7 -Konica Minolta were the first manufacturer to release a M1 Spectrophotometer. The device will also measure MO, M2 and M3. An optional track is available for the measurements of strips.
·  TECHKON SpectroDenns -The TECHKON SpectroDens supports all measurement modes and can scan up to 54 patches in strip mode as well as single patches. The scanning is newly supported in pressSIGN

Spot and CMYK scores separatedpressSIGN is now capable of displaying three scores for each measurement and job, something the overall score the CMYK score and the Spot colour score.

The new method makes it much easier to track spot color performance both for individual jobs and across multiple jobs from many sites. This is particularly true with pressSIGN Global Print Management.

Synching custom spot libraries

pressSiGN GPM allows users to set up a color library at the central server and distribute these libraries to specified named sites that are connected to the server. When the library is no longer needed by the remote site the central administrator can remove the library from local use.

Neutral Print Density Curves (NPDC)
In many territories print buyers and brand managers focus on the GRACol® and G7® methodology. somethingUntil now pressSIGN has offered 4CX as the best method of achieving accurate grey balance from any ICC profile. pressSIGN 6 adds Neutral Print Density as an alternative method of achieving consistently accurate grey balance.

In addition to providing a tonal adjustment based on NPD pressSIGN reports the Maximum and Average Delta L and Delta F.

New Production Mode Tab
pressSIGN-Pro 6 adds a new production mode view shows the Delta E or Density readings acrosssomething the sheet for each measurement. The production mode makes it easy to spot problems that may exist in particular keys as the job runs.
In the example on the right we can see exactly where the problems existed on the yellow plate with all the timings for each measurement.

Other features
