Compose just completed our 3 days at Graphic Art association Techno Summit event this year, it was a big success for GAA being their first attempt to organize in this format. The speaker quality was excellent, and surprisingly the high turnout on each of the forum topics as well. GAA was highly resourceful to invite Mr. Ulrich Schmitt of Fogra to talk about PrePress and Press standard in accordance to Fogra 39, Prof Benjamin Lee from University of LA, on new strategies for digital graphics communication, Mr. MissuharuMasuko from Japan on Hi Fi color printing. A number of renowned companies locally were also present to address issues from different field, including automated publishing solution from Adobe, a new generation of Flexographic & Gravure proofing solution, Future trend on Digital Asset management, an insight to future Print Production by our Simon Ha.
Compose is also taking this opportunity to introduce two new print solutions to the event, the new Apex 1290 continuous digital printer. It is a toner-based digital Printer based on OKI’s successful 9650 model, capable of printing CMYK color at 30 feet per minute.
