Compose System Welcomed the New Zealand Dignitaries at its Hong Kong HQ

On 29 March, 2010, to mark the signing of the Closer Economic Partnership (CEP) between Hong Kong and New Zealand, Mr Carl Worker, the New Zealand Ambassador to China and Ms Adele Bryant, the New Zealand Consul-General to Hong Kong visited the Compose System’s office at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park to see first-handed how Hong Kong and New Zealand technology companies can work effectively together. The parties were accompanied by Mr. Anthony Tan, CEO of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park.
Compose System, is the e-publishing development partner of Pingar, a new breed of advanced search technology company headquartered in New Zealand. For the last 12 months the parties have been working together to deliver a new Microsoft Sharepoint based enterprise search solution, and an internet search and content delivery platform.
The advanced search technology uses user’s natural language search query so that user can search online enterprise or internet information by asking a direct question. Instead of providing user with hyperlinks to documents that contained keywords, the required information is dynamically published by Compose’s reporting platform, PDF or XPS documents are generated on-the-fly in a way that is readily useable by the user. Pingar’s contextualised search capability is designed to improve significantly the quality of search result as well as dramatically reducing the search time.
The new Pingar/Compose solution not only increases information worker productivity and driving down enterprise costs, it also allows online content owners to monetize their content, improves advertising ROI and engages users on a 1-2-1 basis.
